Privacy

The short version: nothing.

This is a plain static website about LED controllers. It doesn't profile you, doesn't set cookies, and its only analytics is a self-hosted, cookieless visit counter. Here's the detail, in plain English.

What we collect
Nothing personal. There are no accounts, no forms, no newsletter sign-up, no comment box, and no advertising scripts on this site. We count page views with a self-hosted, cookieless Matomo instance running on our own server (stats.intermit.tech) — no cookies, no cross-site tracking, and nothing shared with third parties. It tells us which pages help people; it doesn't tell us who you are.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no local storage for tracking — our analytics runs in Matomo's cookieless mode. Your browser may remember harmless preferences (like whether you've reduced motion), but that never leaves your device.
Fonts
Type is loaded from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches a font file, Google receives the request (including your IP address) as part of serving it — standard for any site using their CDN. We don't add any tracking on top of that. See Google's privacy policy.
Links to other sites
We link out to quinled.info, retailers (AllNet, DrZzs, Jerems), YouTube, Discord, ESPHome, WLED and Home Assistant. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies — not this one.
Hosting
The site is served as static files by a standard web host, which may keep basic server logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp) for security and reliability. Those logs aren't used to profile or identify you.
Your controller
This matters more than the website: the An-Penta controllers themselves run local-only firmware (ESPHome or WLED). They don't phone home, don't need an account, and don't send your data to a cloud. That's the whole point — more on that here.
